Day 1 – Using Lead App For Group Attendance
First, a clarification. Some of you have asked me about the role of the Lead App. It’s not a complete group app. Meaning, it’s only for group leaders, not everyone in your group. And it’s only for attendance.
The other tools CCB provides for groups, like prayer requests and group messages are done in CCB itself, not on the Lead App.
STEP 1
The day of your group, go to the Lead App. Click on your group (if you don’t see it, let us know. All group leaders should be able to see it.) Then click the Attendance button.
Next, you’ll see this Event screen. Each day’s group event should show up here. If it’s not showing, message us! Click on the event:
Next, you’ll see an active roster on the next page. This roster is only going to show people who are already registered into your group. On day 1, I won’t know who comes to my group. So, I plan on asking everyone to pull out their phones, go to our group’s page on the main “Find A Group” page, then requesting to join our group. We will do this right at the beginning of our group. This will give us time to enjoy a cup of coffee and greet each other while everyone gets this squared away. For anyone that has trouble, use a good old fashioned piece of paper. You can always add them to your group yourself, or reach out to me to do it. For those who don’t get on your attendance, take a count and add them into the “Visitors” box shown below. This will help us a get a total count.
One other note, once people ask to Join your group, you will see those requests on your group’s home page in the Lead app, shown below:
Once you click on Members, you’ll find new member requests, like this (Yes, Lebron James is coming to our group! 😉 :
