Middle School Ministry

The mid•dle is for students in 6-8 grade. We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Messiah’s House. The mid•dle is a place where students can feel at home. We provide a space to discover identity, develop relationship with Jesus and connect with friends. The mid•dle is led by Pastor Homer Garcia. You can reach him by email at hgarcia@mh.church.

Meet Chad Johnson

Middle School Director

 I am originally from Rockwall, Texas, but I’m grateful to have called Amarillo home for more than 17 years. My wife, Danielle, and I have been married since August 2017, and we are blessed with two amazing daughters, Avery and Hadleigh.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and watching college sports—Boomer Sooner!

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to serve in many areas of ministry, from worship and hospitality to students and everything in between. I am passionate about helping people of all ages and backgrounds experience the love of Jesus and guiding them into a personal relationship with our Savior. I am especially excited to invest in the next generation as they discover a faith that becomes their own!

    REGISTER HERE Join us for NO FILTER: Purity of Heart, Mind, & Body, a family night for students in grades 6-12 and their parents on Tuesday, October 27, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Messiah's House. Together, we will share a meal and have honest, age-appropriate conversations about purity, identity, pornography, social media, relationships, healthy boundaries, and the pressures teenagers face today.
