The HangOut is our ministry for 9-12th grade. We meet on Wednesday nights at the church from 6:30 – 8 p.m.  Come enjoy a tight community of students who seek truth, and the love of Jesus together. The HangOut is led by Pastor Jacob Larra. You can reach him by email at jlarra@mh.church.

Meet Jacob Larra

Student Pastor

“I’ve been blessed to be married to my wife, Teresa, for 23 years. We have a son, Kaleb, and his wife Bethany, as well as our daughter, Isabella. I grew up on a farm in Dimmitt, Texas, where I learned the value of hard work and faith. After 14 years of serving in ministry, God moved our family to Amarillo, Texas, to continue pursuing His calling. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University. In my free time, I love working with my hands—building things, spending time in the yard, and enjoying the outdoors through hunting.”

    REGISTER HERE MH Students Fall Retreat is an overnight experience for students in grades 6-12, taking place October 3-4 at High Plains Retreat Center. Through worship, biblical teaching, small groups, and activities, including the giant swing, obstacle course, archery, and Mega Relay, students will learn what it means to build their lives on Jesus.
