Many people in the Church were saved by the gospel of fear rather than the gospel of love. In other words, many people come to Christ simply because they are afraid of eternal damnation, not because they want an everlasting place with a God who loves them. When a person gets saved out of fear they usually continue to serve God out of fear and the end result is lukewarm christianity. This message deals with three main reasons that you never have to be afraid of God or serve God out of fear.
