Trust Is Not A Feeling

Messiah’s House · Trust Is Not A Feeling – Jason Craft There is a difference between feeling and trust. Feeling is an emotional response to a situation or person. Trust, on the other hand, is a belief that someone or something is reliable and capable. Trust is a decision, not a feeling. What you believe can change your feelings but what you feel also has the potential to change what you believe.  This teaching deals with how to trust God even when you don’t feel like it.

Listen to this message by Pastor Jason as he opens up God’s Word and shows us how to move out of negative feelings and into a life of faith. Messiah’s House · Faith Over Feelings – Jason Craft

Trust and Obey

King Jeroboam was a man who started out with great promises from God.  God promised him the control of a nation, an ongoing dynasty, and God’s abiding presence.  All of these promises were conditional and dependent upon Jeroboam’s obedience. If he would simply obey God then he could trust that God would bring about the fulfillment of these promises. Sadly, Jeroboam wasn’t obedient and he faced great punishment from God.  Listen to this message as Pastor Jason shows you that Jeroboam’s actions were the result of his lack of trust in the Lord.
