ABOUT S.A.L.T.

The MH Senior Adult Ministry exists to cultivate active Kingdom people who happen to
be 55+ years old. This group is named S.A.L.T., which stands for Seasoned Adults
Living Triumphantly!

This phrase expresses the conviction we embrace to be the salt of
the earth like Jesus said we would be in Matthew 5:13. Our meetings and activities are
aimed at producing a vibrant faith in each participant in the context of life-giving
fellowship.

Our meetings are on one Friday each month, generally at 10:00 am in the
Community Room. The Friday may change some each month just to accommodate
other calendar events, like holidays. At our meetings, we will enjoy a family meal together, a discussion on various topics, and some time to pray together for each other. Most of the time, we meet at the church building during the day.

In addition to the monthly meetings, we have some weekly small groups for Seniors focused on book or Bible studies, finances, and prayer. Sometimes we’ll even play board games or go on picnics, you know, to keep us young at heart! Check the website for events, times, and locations. You can also call Pastor Royce Gooch at 806-414-4384 or send an email to salt@mh.church.
