Parents and families,
Thank you for giving us the privilege of teaching and loving your child today. Feel free to use this tool about today’s lesson to connect with your child during the week. We can’t wait to see you next Sunday!

Bible Story: Exodus 3 “Moses and the Burning Bush”
Possible activities to incorporate into your week:
- Using a train table or other track/path, encourage your child to use a toy to follow the path around and around. As you are both playing, talk about how God’s way is perfect and we can trust Him to show us the right way.
- Ask your child to show you his/her big muscles! Join in the fun and show off your muscles, too. Together say over and over, “God is always strong!”
- Using chalk, crayons, or markers, help your child create a burning bush drawing. Then find ways to change the drawing so that it will no longer be the same: pour water, color over with darker colors, etc. Then talk about the burning bush Moses encountered. God never changes. The burning bush didn’t burn out of control in billows of smoke or slowly fade away. God is constant and unchanging.
- Go on a nature walk. Help your child identify plants of all varieties. Talk about how plants need sunlight, water, and air to grow and thrive. God does not need anything to exist, yet He provides everything to us.
- Review the memory verse. Make it fun! Sing, dance, chant, etc.
- Sing (or find a fun version on YouTube, etc.) This Little Light of Mine. Talk about the burning bush Moses encountered. After experiencing God in this way, Moses was never the same. When we experience God, we are never the same either.
- Hug it out! “I love you so much. I love our daily adventures. God started a great adventure when He created you.”
Prayer: Thank you, God, for loving us. You are amazing, and your way is perfect. Thank you for allowing us to always trust you and for showing us the right way just like you did for Moses. We love you and thank you for never changing. Amen.
